So many fun parties are thrown in the summer—barbeques, family reunions, pool parties and lots more. In this case a picturesque park pavilion served as the setting for our sunny day theme. To recreate this look, use a simple beach towel as a table runner. Then place sunflowers, the obvious focal flower for this gathering, in a galvanized watering can or something similar you may already own. Bells of Ireland blooms add height and additional green color to this arrangement.

Use your children’s beach pails to hold sand and citronella candles that will help keep bugs at bay. The colorful pail can also function as silverware and napkin holders. To finish off the look, pour sand directly on the table and place additional candles. Then toss the sunflower flip-flops along the beach towel runner, and you’re ready to host a super summer party.alt

Inexpensive flip-flop sandals transform into an unexpected table topper. Simply wire a large sunflower to the sandal for a surprising accent. You can also give these as party favors at the end of your sunny day!
